Dr. Samir Chebaro, DDS, MD, Ph.D, FACS
Dr. Chebaro is a Board-certified in both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.
He graduated from France with a DDS and then from Stanford Medical School with an MD. After completing residency in Plastic Surgery Dr. Chebaro continued training with a fellowship in Maxillofacial Orthognathic Surgery at Baylor University in Texas. During this time he taught special skills in plastic surgery and was involved in many missions trip to Europe. He got a PhD degree in 1998. He is now considered one of the foremost experts in aesthetic plastic surgery.
Dr. Chebaro understands that appearance and
self-confidence interplay. He enjoys improving a patient's
looks because it often also improves their lives. Being a highly
qualified professional with 20 years of medical practice, he
demonstrates perseverance, compassion and attention to detail.
He is known for the ability to examine complicated cases and
effectively perform under pressurized situations. In short,
American skills with a French touch.

Many patients considering plastic surgery have natural concerns about undergoing anesthesia. Fortunately advances in monitoring equipment and improved anesthesia drugs have largely contributed to improved overall anesthesia safety.
At Elite Plastic Surgery Clinic, administration of anesthesia is overseen by board certified anesthesiologists Dr William Peterson, M.D. and Dr Ashley Chang, M.D. At a preoperative appointment prior to surgery each patient is evaluated by one of our anesthesiologists for a thorough history and examination. On the day of surgery, Nancy Johnson, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA’s) will assist in delivering anesthesia medication and monitoring patients under anesthesiologist supervision. And she is responsible of postoperative care.
Patients undergoing procedures at Paces Surgical Center will have either monitored sedation (MAC anesthesia) or general anesthesia. More minor procedures such as small scar revisions or excision of lesions can be performed under local anesthesia administered by the plastic surgeon and do not necessitate an anesthesiologist or operating room.
Monitored sedation or MAC anesthesia is delivered intravenously to make you temporarily drowsy while local anesthesia is injected. While the local anesthesia will keep you numb at the surgical site, you will also be kept sedated to avoid any anxiety or restlessness. Your vital signs will be monitored and supplemental oxygen supplied. The advantages of MAC anesthesia are that recovery can be somewhat quicker and there is a minimized risk of nausea. Procedures that are often done under MAC anesthesia include some eyelid procedures and small areas of liposuction.

Joyce Walker & Larry Walker
Joyce and Larry are brother and sister and they have been with Elite Plastic Surgery Clinic since the beginning. They are Registered Nurses and had also taken an extra year of training to become certified surgical first assistants. They will help in all operations. They are also certified in Micro-dermabrasion and Intense Pulsed Light therapy.

Nancy Miller - Director of P.R. events
Nancy studied business as well as design from Santa Barbara College and USC. Her creativity, entrepreneurial and leadership skills have greatly contributed to the expansion and success of the company. Nancy coordinates all patient-relation functions, business operations, public relations, and sales and marketing efforts. Her passion for the medical/aesthetics industry is a perfect match for this professional who thrives in an innovative, cutting-edge organization.

Cheryl Lopez - Assistant to Director, Patient Advocate
Cheryl has been in the Aesthetic Industry since 2003. Cheryl brings with her an extensive background of knowledge in medical skin care services and cosmeceutical products. In addition to her responsibilities as Assistant to the Director, she is also a Patient Advocate helping clients with coordinating appointments and surgeries. She will be there to answer any questions you may have before and after your procedure, ensuring that your experience at MPSA is positive and enjoyable!

Carla Lewis - Patient Coordinator
Carla has been in the cosmetic field since 2002. She works directly with Dr. Chebaro and his patients and will be your advocate throughout and work closely with you both before and after surgery. Carla is always at your service for questions and concerns. Her positive attitude and welcoming personality help to make our clients feel comfortable and at home in our office. She believes in Dr. Chebaro's expertise and has also been a patient of Dr. Chebaro.

Sharon Roberts - Front Desk Associate
Sharon has been in the Aesthetic Industry since 2001. She is simultaneously working on her Associate in Arts degree. Sharon brings to our reception area an enthusiasm that our patients appreciate and enjoy. Additionally, Sharon is a licensed professional Make-up Artist, and we use her expertise on our non surgical makeover clients. She’s the cheery voice you will hear on the other end when you call Elite Plastic Surgery Clinic.

Jennifer Murphy - Check-Out Administrator
Jennifer assists all clients during the check-out process. Jennifer attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She has been in the plastic surgery industry for over 10 years. She is here to ensure that you have had exceptional service and care, your purchases are completed, and that your next appointment is scheduled. Most of her time is spent with post-operative patients and patient education. She is also the Clinical Nurse coordinator Jennifer is usually the last friendly face you will see before you leave our office.
